Maybrook Police Chief Shot In Line of Duty and Active Shooter Barricaded Inside House.

pnbspOur heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to Maybrook Police Chief Arnold Butch Amthor who according to multiple sources was shot in the line of duty this morning protecting our community and enforcing the law. We all wish him a speedy recovery as well as best wishes to all of his officers of Maybrook PD and Town of Montgomery PD during this rough time. God bless him and all the men and women in Blue that risk their lives everyday so that we can live ours more peacefully. ppMaybrook FD was actively at the scene today standing by with anything that was needed as well as traffic control road closure of Tower Ave off of Schipps Lane by the ball park with Fire Police Unit 217 Engine 210 and 218 were up near Christian and Tower Ave. by Fire Command staging. Maybrook FD Car 2 Charlie Woznick had Fire Command during incident.br typemozp
