Maybrook Fire Department

The Maybrook Fire Department is currently seeking community residents for the following types of positions (Firefighter, EMT, Fire-Police/Traffic Control), No maximum age limit with a minimum age of 16 to join.

We offer a LOSAP retirement benefit to our members as well as college scholarships from many of our organizations that we belong to. As well as state and county courses that count towards college credits.

Responsibilities: Answers fire, rescue & EMS calls whenever available. Attends weekly training sessions held every Tuesday evening and 1 monthly business meeting every first monday of the month. Participates in fundraising activities and training. Training requirements: Must complete an Essential of Firefighting course and/or a Emergency Responder or Emergency Medical Technician course. All training and gear is paid for by Maybrook FD.
